This plaque commemorates Silas Stone and his pioneer family which settled, ranched, and gave name to the area now known as Stone Valley, including Stone Valley Creek and Stone Valley Road.  This plaque was placed by the Joaquin Murrieta Society Chapter 13 E Clampus Vitus.
